UPMC McKeesport Pastoral Care to Lead Bereavement Support Group

WHAT: An open-forum support group for those who are grieving to share their experiences with each other. Each session starts with a topic for discussion, such as the “Myths of Grief,” “Am I Crazy?” and “Will It Ever Be Better?” Articles, pamphlets and other handouts will be discussed during the sessions. Guidelines will be established at the outset that will allow each participant to speak freely and as openly as possible without judgment.
There is no charge to participate in the group and parking will be free.
For further information or to register please call Suzie Cisler at 412-664-2380 or the Pastoral Care Department at 412-664-2057.
WHY: Each of us will experience loss and grief at some point in our lives. Interaction with others who also are experiencing grief lets participants know they are not alone, which may make it possible to find some strength and healing to move forward and live a full, happy life.
