Pittsburgh Steelers Bring Delicious Competition to Magee for 9th Annual Healthy Cooking Demo
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, several players from the Pittsburgh Steelers
will put their culinary skills to the test at the 9th annual healthy cooking demonstration at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC.
They will join the Magee nutrition and culinary staff to prepare two healthy dishes, team-competition style, for breast cancer patients and survivors, demonstrating how simple it can be to prepare foods that are delicious and nutritious.
WHEN: 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24
WHERE: Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, 300 Halket St., Oakland.
WHY: The Magee-Womens Breast Cancer Program of UPMC Hillman Cancer Center stresses the importance of good nutrition to breast cancer survival. Maintaining a healthy weight and eating a healthy diet promotes overall health and may protect individuals against the disease.
