For Families

Our Approach Is Not One-Size-Fits-All

The UPMC Center for Eating Disorders is western Pennsylvania’s only inpatient program dedicated to eating disorders, with appropriate programs for children and adults.

We understand the complexities of eating disorders for patients and their loved ones. We work with each patient to customize a treatment, which may include day hospital care or more traditional outpatient approaches.

Group and family therapy sessions are also an important part of treatment.
