CO2RE® Fractional

CO₂RE is a fractional CO₂ resurfacing system that can treat both superficial and deep skin layers simultaneously with precision-control. CO₂RE can improve your skin’s tone and texture, minimizing the appearance of sun-damage, scarring, age spots, rough texture, and other imperfections. The treatment is ideal for patients who would like to have younger looking skin without the downtime of a conventional resurfacing procedure.

How It Works

Columns of skin are removed, leaving the surrounding skin intact to aid in healing. This is called a fractionated method. By doing this, the CO₂RE is helping to reduce sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, and uneven tones, while stimulating collagen regrowth. A local or topical anesthetic will be given to help make the procedure more tolerable. 

Following treatment, your skin may feel hot, like sunburn, and significant redness may occur, lasting approximately five days. You will experience the most intense sensation in the first four hours post treatment, and this typically resolves within 24 hours.

• Days 1–3 — Skin may still feel like you have sunburn, and swelling peaks around day two or three.
• Days 3–5 — Swelling will subside, and your skin may begin to peel.
• Days 5–7 — Mild redness may persist for six to eight weeks, and peeling should subside within seven to 10 days.
