The UPMC Esophageal and Lung Surgery Institute has over 35 cardiothoracic surgeons and more than 170 staff members working for your benefit.

Our two divisions offer specific treatments and procedures for different types of cardiothoracic conditions:

​Minimally invasive treatments for thoracic and foregut conditions, including diseases of the lungs, trachea, and esophagus.

Cardiothoracic Transplant Division

Lung, heart and heart-lung transplant surgeries for adults and children with advanced heart and lung diseases.
