COPD is a serious disease of the lungs that makes it difficult to breathe. Many times COPD is associated with a chronic cough.

How is COPD Diagnosed?

COPD is diagnosed by discussing your breathing trouble with your doctor who will examine you and may perform tests, including: 

  • Breathing tests
  • Blood tests
  • X-rays
