Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy at the Department of Family Medicine

Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy (OMT) is a treatment approach that focuses on manipulation of your muscles, joints and bones. Physicians who practice OMT are specially trained in Osteopathic Medicine. They will have the letters D.O. after their name instead of the M.D.

Many of our family medicine locations have board certified family medicine doctors who are trained in OMT.  Many of our clinics have OMT scheduled visits for you to get this specialized treatment.

If you are interested in seeing an osteopathic physician or would like to learn more about OMT, contact one of our family medicine locations to schedule an appointment.

Visit the American Osteopathic Association website for more information about osteopathic manipulation therapy.
