Meet Our New Physician

Mark A. Fye, MD

Spinal Surgeon

Q. Tell us about your treatment goals.

A. I am certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. My goal is to educate patients and assist them in every stage of the process, from pre- to post-operative care. When working with patients, I seek to improve not just back and neck pain, but overall quality of life.

Q. What are your specialties?

I specialize in providing surgical and non-surgical treatment for cervical, thoracic and lumbar stenosis, disc herniations, and traumatic conditions of the spine, as well as many other conditions.

Q. What kind ofinjuries and/or conditions require spinal surgery?

A. I provide comprehensive, quality medical care for spinal disorders as well as treatment for the following conditions:

  • Adult Compression Fractures
  • Cervical and Lumbar Spinal Stenosis
  • Scoliosis and Spinal Deformity
  • Arthritic Conditions of the Spine

Q. What’s important for people to know who may be considering spinal surgery?

My guiding principles for patient care begin with me personally spending quality time with my patients. I work with patients so they understand their problem and learn how to manage it, whether non-operative or operative. Each patient should have as much of my time as needed, from pre-operative consultations to post-operative care, so he or she can make informed decisions.
