The Fourth Annual Palliative Care Conference for health care professionals will be held  Friday, May 8 at the Rangos Research Center at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

The theme of this year’s conference is Palliative Care Across The Life Span. 

Clinical and Professionals Session

Keynote Speaker: Charles Von Gunten, MD, PhD, FACP, FAAHPM, Vice President, Medical Affairs, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, OhioHealh - Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Von Gunten will give a presentation on the history of the development of palliative care, followed by sessions on ethical dilemmas, moreal distress, and small group sessions addressing transitions, perinatal and adult palliative care.

CME and CEU credits are available for this conference.
