Our Services

  • UPMC Rx Express: offering prescriptions for patients making the transition from hospital to home. All discharge prescriptions are filled at Forbes Pharmacy and delivered directly to the patient at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.
  • 90 day supply of maintenance medication for two copayments for UPMC Health Plan insured employees
  • Assistance with medication costs through collaboration with social workers, care coordinators, and other health care professionals
  • Automated pick-up and refill prescription reminders via phone, text, or email
  • On site clinical pharmacist offering comprehensive medication management, disease state and medication education and counseling on diet, exercise, and smoking cessation
  • Clozapine dispensing and lab monitoring
  • Medication Adherence “Pillbox” Dispensing Program
  • Pharmacist collaboration with health care providers (psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurses, social workers, case managers, and therapists) to resolve drug related problems and assist with individual medication needs
  • Adult immunization administration
