At the David C. Koch Regional Cancer Therapy Center, our surgeons have the expertise and technology to treat cancers that have advanced beyond surgical removal, but still are limited to an organ or region of the body.

Diseases We Treat

Disease Description
Liver Cancer Cancer that occurs in the tissues of the liver.
Regionally Confined Melanoma  Skin cancer that has spread through the bloodstream to another area of the body.
Peritoneal Carcinomatosis An advanced form of cancer in which many tiny tumors spread throughout the abdominal cavity and linings.
Peritoneal Mesothelioma Cancer that forms in the lining of the abdominal cavity.
Pleural Cavity Tumors Tumors found in the space between the lungs and chest wall that contains lubricating pleural fluid.
Metastases Cancer that started in one part of the body and has spread to another part of the body.
Late-stage and Advanced Cancers Cancer where tumors are so large they cannot be removed completely without damaging other organs, or a previous tumor has recurred.
