Services at Jameson Care Center

We encourage all residents to reach and maintain their maximum level of functioning. Through the coordinated efforts of all concerned – our staff, the residents, family members and various community agencies – we strive to assist the residents to recover their highest levels of competence whenever possible, return them to family, friends and community as productive members of society.

For patients requiring 24-hour skilled nursing and rehabilitation care, Jameson Care Center offers the following specialized services:

• Ready access to all services and programs offered by UPMC Jameson Health System
• Care Conferences are held to gather input from the family, the resident and the interdisciplinary team
• Comprehensive rehabilitation services which include physical, occupational and speech therapy
• I.V. therapy services administered by skilled professional nursing staff
• Enterostomal therapy services as ordered by the resident’s physician
• A full range of nutritional services monitored by a registered dietician
• A therapeutic recreation program provided by an experienced activities director
• Social services provided by an experienced social worker
• Spiritual needs met by Jameson Pastoral Care Program
• Special consulting services available on site including psychological, dental, podiatry, pharmacy and others as needed
• Transitional Rehabilitation Unit
