Interfaith Pastoral Care and Education Programs at Canterbury Place

About the Interfaith Pastoral Care Program

Established in 1998, the Interfaith Pastoral Care program is designed to meet the spiritual needs of our residents, and their families, at Canterbury Place.

The program recognizes Canterbury’s history as a faith-based organization, and its ties to the Episcopal Church. In addition to regularly scheduled services by Christian and Jewish clergy, program funding allows us to offer spiritual support for residents, family members, and caregivers.

About the Interfaith Pastoral Care Education Program

Through the Interfaith Pastoral Care Education program at Canterbury Place, we invite graduate students in theology, social work, and medical studies from local seminaries and universities to gain practical experience working with seniors.

Your Support

The Interfaith Endowment Fund of Canterbury Place supports both the Interfaith Pastoral Care program and the Interfaith Pastoral Care Education program. This fund was initiated with a generous gift from an anonymous benefactor and subsequent fundraising efforts of the Canterbury Place board of directors.

Gifts to the Interfaith Endowment Fund at Canterbury Place can help to expand spiritual services for frail seniors and their families and educate future caregivers.

Make a tax-deductible gift now, or contact Debbie Panei for more information about giving to the Interfaith Endowment Fund at Canterbury Place.
