Beneficiary: UPMC Health for Life Summer Camp at Braddock
Created in 2002, the camp affords children from the Braddock community the opportunity to learn positive social, educational and recreational activities they otherwise may never experience. This program is offered free of charge to children who reside in one of Pittsburgh’s most underserved communities. Campers receive instruction in academics, the arts, career exploration, nutrition and life skills education. Additionally, each camper is required to complete community service, emphasizing the importance of giving back to their community.
