Vaccinating Non-UPMC Health Care Workers in PA

March 1, 2021

UPMC is committed to making COVID-19 vaccines available to Phase 1a frontline health care workers in all of the communities we serve. Each week, we vaccinate thousands of health care personnel throughout the state.

Register to Receive a COVID-19 Vaccine from UPMC

If you are a health care worker and would like to register to receive a COVID-19 vaccine from UPMC, please visit: When you register, you will be able to indicate that you are a health care worker.

If you represent a health care organization, please share the web address with your health care employees and staff so each individual can request a vaccine.

What Happens After I Register?

Vaccine supply from the state and federal government is still limited. But by registering now, we can contact health care workers to collect important health care information in preparation for the vaccine, as well as to schedule an appointment. Communications – via email and text message – will come from UPMC Vaccine Scheduling and UPMC’s Certify Care system.

When Will I Receive a Vaccine?

Please be patient – we want to vaccinate as many people as possible, including health care workers. We will do so quickly once we receive vaccine from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Before and after receiving the vaccine, please continue to wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose, practice physical distancing, and wash your hands frequently. These measures prevent the spread of COVID-19 and save lives. You can also access answers to "frequently asked questions" about the COVID-19 vaccine and the vaccine scheduling process.
