UPMC Hillman Cancer Center Here in North Central Pa.

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center – one of only three National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in Pennsylvania – is close to home. With three locations in north central Pa, patients have access to personalized cancer treatments like immunotherapy, the latest chemotherapy protocols and radiation technologies, and more than 570 breakthrough clinical trials.

UPMC Williamsport

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Williamsport has recently expanded to help better serve our cancer patients in north central Pa. The 10,000-square-foot addition was designed with patients in mind and offers more private exam rooms and chemotherapy bays in a calm, healing, and comforting environment.

Our Williamsport location also offers Paxman® scalp cooling therapy for cancer patients to help reduce hair loss during chemotherapy.

The treatment, which is free to patients thanks to the Susquehanna Health Foundation, consists of a compact refrigeration system unit which circulates coolant through a specially designed single-patient use cap. UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Williamsport is the only cancer center in north central Pennsylvania to offer patients this innovative treatment.

UPMC Wellsboro

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Wellsboro specializes in medical oncology, immunotherapy, and hormone therapy. Our medical oncologists collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including radiation oncologists at UPMC Williamsport, to provide individualized, comprehensive cancer care. This location offers on-site social service assistance, nutritional counseling, and more for patients and their families and caregivers.


UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Coudersport specializes in medical oncology. Biotherapy, immunotherapy, and more. Our team offers a personalized, compassionate approach, and all of our nurses are certified by the Oncology Nursing Society. At this location, patients have access to complementary therapies including free cancer screenings, a lending library, a meditation path, and holistic nursing care.
