Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Opportunity in Wellsboro, Pa.

UPMC Wellsboro is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to function as a core member of the collaborative care team which includes the behavioral health team, the patient's medical provider, psychiatric consultant, larger primary care team, and support services.

Essential Function: Plan and conduct behavioral health assessments and mental health therapy services under the Laurel Behavioral Health's (LBH) Department of Public Welfare Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic license. Services will be delivered at the Laurel Behavioral Health's main office in Wellsboro, as well as the six Laurel Health Center clinics in Wellsboro, Mansfield, Blossburg, Lawrenceville, Elkland, and Westfield. The LCSW clinician will provide services to a varied patient mix including children and adults of all ages on an individual, family, and group basis. This is a full-time position and will require some evening hours. UPMC Wellsboro is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications: This position requires a Master's Degree and an active, unrestricted Pennsylvania State License in the field of Licensed Clinical Social Work. Must have comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health treatment and evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions, ability to make timely decisions, have the ability to work with brief patient encounters to make quick and accurate clinical assessments, be comfortable with the pace of primary care and working with an interdisciplinary team, and demonstrate the ability to design and implement clinical pathways and protocols for treatment of selected chronic conditions.
