UPMC Pinnacle is partnering with area businesses, faith communities, fitness professionals, city leadership, and many more to help those with chronic disease and illness kick start a healthier way of life, while breaking down the barriers to care. 

What is it?

A program that began July, 2020 and now starting Cohort 3, January 18, 2021.

Is it for me?

If you are 18 or older and living in the city of Harrisburg, currently managing or diagnosed with chronic disease (obesity, diabetes, and hypertension), please consider this program.  Our goal is geared toward supporting individuals creating and sustaining healthy habits, while removing the barriers that prevent them from maintaining their well-being. 

When is it?

January 18, 2021 - Monday through Saturdays. See schedule below.

Cohort 3 Healthy Harrisburg Exercise Registration

Classes beginning January 18, 2020 for 10 Weeks
In-Person Classes at the UPMC Pinnacle Midtown Building
1426 North Third Street, Harrisburg, PA (Use the Reily Street entrance)
Capacity 30 Participants
Completion of assessment required prior to starting class.

Assessments January 18-21, 2021 5 p.m. at the Midtown site.
Classes begin January 18, 2021 at 6 p.m.

Monday - Xtreme Hip Hop Step (6 pm)
Tuesday - Line Dancing (6 pm)
Wednesday - Zoombalicious (6 pm)
Thursday - Men’s Strength Training (Facebook Live - 7 am)
Thursday - African Dance (6 pm)
Friday - Mid-Morning Yoga (Facebook Live - 11 am)
Saturday - Walking to Fitness (7:30 am)
Saturday - Varied Fitness Class (9:00 am)
Sunday - Walking to Fitness (7:30 am)
