Research Day is an annual opportunity for researchers and clinicians from the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC, Carnegie Mellon University, Duquesne University, Robert Morris University, and other academic institutions to socialize, network, and view posters that showcase the latest in aging research. This year’s event took place on May 10, 2017, and was held at the William Pitt Union. It was our first collaborative program and brought together:
In celebration of Research on Aging and Rehabilitation, Jonathan F. Bean, MD, MS, MPH, Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School and Nathan K. LeBrasseur, MS, PhD, Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mayo Clinic joined the day and provided wonderful keynote presentations to an audience of more than 225. 83 abstracts were submitted and were on display throughout the day.
