Dr. Leers sees patients at UPMC St. Margaret and UPMC Shadyside.
every time I visit Dr Leer, I have to wait at least 1/2 hr in the waiting room past my appointment time, and at least 20-25 minutes in the exam room to see him after testing. Very annoying.
Good as always
Dr. Leers is very knowledgeable and we truly appreciate him.
Dr. Leeds was. Very helpful in explaining my health situation.
You were shown respect and privacy. The staff answered and Doctor answered all questions ask of them.
Staff very courteous and efficient
Office staff is very kind and courteous and Dr Leers is wonderful, he is a caring, attentive and very professional physician. I would not entrust my vascular issues to anyone else.
I was provided an excellent explanation (from a doctor working with Dr. Leers) of what the doctors are looking for from my tests (and any future tests).

Dr. Leers is knowledgeable and an excellent care he provider.
excellent Vascular surgeon that has been taking care of my circulation since 2013 thru operations and testing without his surgical expertise I could have had serious problems.
best docter ever
Dr. Leers has an excellent bedside manner.
I think Dr. Leers and his staff are great! and also all the folks at UPMC
I was so lucky to be referred to Dr. Leers for vascular issues. He is wonderful, caring and has an excellent bed-side manner. I would not go to another vascular surgeon unless he referred me. He saved my life and I am forever grateful for him. He's the best. His staff are wonderful too. I have and will recommend him to others.
Care provider was thorough, well-informed, and considerate of patient's needs.
all staff members and MD were kind, informative and respectful
much surgery failed and led to the loss of use of my left hand. Dr. Leers showed sympathy for my plight and has instigated a plan to restore use of my hand.
Dr. Leers is an excellent surgeon and physician
Test results were discussed and my medical condition was explained very clearly. Discussion of medications and the way they work was also clearly explained. The information provided by the fellow and the Dr.was excellent and very helpful to me for understanding my medical needs at this time. 100% satisfied.
Dr. Leers is an exceptional doctor. I wouldn't go to anyone else for vascular issues, unless he referred me. His office staff and the reception staff are always very helpful and gracious and I have never waited long for an appointment at his office. They take me right away even when I am early. I would and have recommended Dr. Leers to others. I couldn't have gotten a better doctor to take care of my vascular issues.
I felt kinda dismissed with my concerns with my issues. They didn't really take enough time to listen to me & when I did say something I was dismissed by the doctor.
placed in an exam room after doppler study, and waited 40 minutes with door closed. No one came in to see if I was ok, or to tell me why my appointment time was so delayed. I opened the door after that time and shortly thereafter, someone came in to review my test results before the doctor saw me.
Doctor and staff are excellent, as with every visit I have with them. No bad experiences.
Dr. Stephen Leers is asset to UPMC. We recommend him all the time to family and friends.
