Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing

​​Since its founding in 1895, the Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in New Castle, Pa. has trained more than 2,500 nurses with a focus on improving the health and wellness of their communities. In 2016, the school became a part of the UPMC Schools of Nursing.

Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing offers a two-year nursing diploma program, which prepares graduates to meet the ever-changing health care needs of individuals, families, and communities throughout all stages of life. Program graduates sit for the NCLEX-RN exam to earn a Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.

If you are interested in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), beginning in fall 2017, Westminster College will offer a pathway to a four-year BSN degree as part of a new partnership with the Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. This program combines a liberal arts education with Jameson’s quality nursing education, and includ​es studying for taking the RN licensure exam.
