Job shadow opportunities are available at UPMC Horizon's hospital campuses in Farrell and Greenville (located in Mercer County, Pennsylvania) to students who would like to follow a health care professional for up to two weeks.

The Education Department staff will consult the appropriate department manager prior to the arrival of the student to define the job shadow experience.
After approval, the student agrees to accept the job shadow and is supervised by the department manager or a health care professional, dependent upon the type and nature of the experience.
