Job Shadow Program

Job shadow opportunities are available to students who would like to follow a health care professional for up to three days. Additional hours or clinical rotations that involve direct patient contact will require the complete internship application process.

Students who are interested in job shadowing must complete an application and orientation packet.

The Education Department staff will consult the appropriate department manager or physician, if needed, prior to the arrival of the student to define the job shadow experience. After approval, the student agrees to accept the job shadow and is supervised by a physician and/or department manager, dependent upon the type and nature of the experience.
