I'm Covered by a Highmark Commercial Plan

Mark your calendar for June 30, 2019. A day that will mean changes for those covered by a Highmark or other Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial plan. After this date, you may have to pay out-of-network rates to receive care from many UPMC doctors, hospitals, and health care professionals in the Pittsburgh and Erie regions.

During your next open enrollment period, make sure you understand your options. If you would like full in-network access to UPMC's world-class care, be sure to choose a plan that includes all UPMC doctors and hospitals.

Despite these changes, there is an easy way to ensure you will have access to the care you need — ask your employer for insurance with in-network access to UPMC.

Tell your employer that year after year UPMC is ranked among the best health care in the nation, UPMC Health Plan has the region's highest member satisfaction rates, and you want full, in-network access to world-class care.

Ask your employer for choice.
