The Memorial Hospital of Bedford County Foundation
The Memorial Hospital of Bedford County (MHBC) Foundation was formed as a result of the merger between UPMC Bedford Memorial (formerly Memorial Hospital of Bedford County) and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Funding for the foundation was provided by both parties. The foundation is a means of keeping certain funds in the community to be used for the community good.
The MHBC Foundation consists of the current members of the UPMC Bedford Memorial Board of Directors and hospital representatives. Private donations are accepted by the foundation.
