Good health means something different to every person. But one thing is certain: caring for your mental health is just as important as your physical health when it comes to living your best life.

Behavioral and mental health problems have a ripple effect. They can affect your relationships, work and interests, and even your physical health.

  • Offer support, kindness, and the compassion you deserve.
  • Treat you as a whole person.

Do You Need Help? You’re Not Alone.

Mental and behavioral health issues affect people of every background, race, and gender. They can happen at any age, too — from children and teens to adults and seniors.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) reports that:

  • 1 in 5 adults in the United States gets treatment for a mental illness each year.
  • Over 10 million adults in the United States have both mental health and substance use problems.
  • 1 in 6 children, ages 6 to 18, face a mental health problem each year.

Behavioral health issues can include self-injury, eating disorders like anorexia, or substance use problems. You may have an ongoing or severe mental illness, such as major depression, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.

Not all conditions are long term and treatment can make a life-changing difference. For example:

  • You may have short-term anxiety or need help dealing with stress.
  • You may experience a mental health challenge after a traumatic event in your life or personal loss, after being pregnant, or after being diagnosed with a serious illness.

Even though mental and behavioral health issues are common, 60% of adults and 50% of children don’t get the treatment they need. Left untreated, these issues can get worse. And they can affect your daily life and even your physical health.

We want to make sure you can get the help you need, where and when you need it.
