Our pharmacists and staff work closely with Children’s Hospital health care professionals to provide you with the prescriptions you need before you leave the hospital or physician office.

  • Prescriptions for patients upon discharge
  • Pharmacist consultations and counseling on medications
  • Assistance with medication costs and other prescription issues through collaboration with social workers, care coordinators, and other health care professionals
  • Discounts on over-the-counter medications for UPMC and Pitt employees
  • Free delivery from Falk Pharmacy to Children’s Hospital for UPMC and Pitt employees

  • Specialty medications for UPMC and Gateway health plan members
      • Injectables
      • Hormone therapies
      • Special inhalations
  • Patient-specific, compound medications or liquid preparations that may not be commercially available
