UPMC Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Center
Specialized Care for the Lower Extremity
If you have problems with your feet or ankles due to diabetes, vascular disease, or injury, you know how painful and debilitating they can be and how difficult it can be to find a doctor who specializes in your particular needs.
The UPMC Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Center offers a unique, multidisciplinary approach, including wound care, podiatry, orthopaedic, vascular, and plastic surgeries. The UPMC Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Center is the only such center in the region that focuses on every aspect of the lower extremities.
Conveniently located on the UPMC South Side campus, the center offers patients the convenience of on-site diagnostic testing and procedures. UPMC South Side provides state-of-the art operating suites, convenient parking, and comfortable waiting room facilities for families and friends.
Orthopaedic surgeons, podiatrists, and diabetes educators come together to form a unique multidisciplinary team. A nurse coordinator triages incoming patients to the appropriate doctors, minimizing your wait time and ensuring you see the right specialist from the beginning.
The UPMC Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Center is located on the UPMC South Side campus on the seventh floor of the Roesch-Taylor Medical Building. The center has five examination rooms and a conference room for public educational programs. Two of the examination rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Parking is available in front of the building, and the center is accessible through the Roesch-Taylor Medical Building’s north entrance.
