Magee-Womens Midlife Health Center

Midlife Health Center

The Midlife Health Center (MLHC) at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC offers care for women in perimenopause and menopause. Our physicians have expertise in the management of menopausal symptoms as well as provide well-woman gynecological care.

As one of the only Midlife Health programs in the region with all physicians credentialed as Certified Menopause Practitioners through the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), we will work closely with our patients to maximize health, well-being, and quality of life through menopause and after.

Our Services

The MLHC offers two types of care:

Consultative services and continuing care

  • Find support and specialized information on menopause and midlife health issues.
  • Receive guidance, in partnership with your regular doctor or health care provider, on a specific issue or problem.
  • Visit us a few times and then see your regular doctor for ongoing care.
  • Choose one of our physicians as your primary gynecologist.

We work closely with referring doctors and specialists to coordinate services and provide recommendations for care.
