Our Services

Oncologists at UPMC Hillman Cancer at UPMC Mercy care for many forms of cancer. We offer added expertise in advanced or complex blood, brain, eye, lung, and spinal cord problems, as well as genitourinary and prostate cancers in men.

  • Liquid biopsies — uses blood samples to screen cells for cancer.

Inpatient Oncology Services
UPMC Mercy’s inpatient oncology unit brings together cancer experts from many specialties. They care for patients after surgery and also provide in-hospital chemotherapy treatment. Our team also can assist you with home care arrangements, nutritional guidelines, spiritual growth, and insurance questions.

Outpatient Oncology Services
We know the importance of convenient care when facing cancer. Our outpatient oncology services let you see your oncology doctor and receive chemotherapy treatment during the same visit. Transportation support also may be available to bring you to UPMC Mercy for treatment.

Clinical Research Trials

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center offers more than 500 clinical trials. The goal is to advance the understanding of cancer and find better solutions for patient care. These include national, international, and pharmaceutical-sponsored studies. As a cancer patient UPMC Mercy, you may be eligible to take part in a trial.
