Directions & Parking

UPMC St. Margaret is located near suburban Aspinwall, just off Route 28, 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Aspinwall is a delightful mix of tree-lined residential streets as well as quaint boutiques, specialty food stores, and antique shops.

From New Kensington and North
Proceed southbound on Route 28. Take Exit 8 (Fox Chapel Road). Turn right onto Fox Chapel Road; continue to second traffic light. Turn right onto Freeport Road and follow to UPMC St. Margaret, at 815 Freeport Road.

From Pittsburgh
Take the Fort Duquesne Bridge to Interstate 279 North. Take Exit 7C to Route 28 North. Take Exit 7 (Delafield Road). Turn left onto Delafield Road and left again onto UPMC St. Margaret Drive.

From the East
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 48 (Allegheny Valley), to Route 28 South. Take Exit 8 (Fox Chapel Road). Turn right onto Fox Chapel Road; continue to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Freeport Road and follow to UPMC St. Margaret, at 815 Freeport Road.

From Butler
Take Route 8 South to Route 28 North. Take Route 28 North to Exit 7 (Delafield Road). Turn left onto Delafield Road and left again onto UPMC St. Margaret Drive.

Parking

Visitor parking is available on the hospital campus at a cost of $4 per parking ticket. 

Public Transportation

Port Authority Transit buses make regular stops at or near UPMC St. Margaret. Visit their website for an up-to-date schedule and for more information
