WDVE Ready to Rock the Airwaves during Fourth Annual Radiothon Benefiting Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC

WHAT: Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and WDVE (102.5 FM) are partnering once again to host the fourth annual DVE Rocks Children’s radiothon. The station’s on-air personalities, including Jim Krenn, Randy Baumann and the DVE Morning Show, Michele Michaels and Sean McDowell, will broadcast live from Children’s Hospital during the three-day event.

The fourth annual radiothon will raise much-needed funds and awareness to support the patients and mission of Children’s Hospital. 

Last year, more than 4,500 donors helped raise more than $421,000 for Children's. 

WHO: WDVE on-air personalities, guest entertainers, sports personalities, patients, families, doctors and staff

WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 15, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 16, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHERE: Eat’n Park Atrium, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, One Children’s Hospital Dr., 4401 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224

Note to Media: Media interested in attending this should park in the hospital’s main driveway and meet a member of the media relations team in the lobby to be escorted to the event.
