Ear, Nose & Throat Specialty Physician Group Joins UPMC
PITTSBURGH, Dec. 3, 2012 – Five ear, nose & throat specialists who make up the Metropolitan ENT Associates physician practice will join UPMC on Jan. 1, 2013.
Drs. James E. Blaugrund, Scott E. Celin, Steven R. Jones, Philip A. Pollice and Michael S. Srodes all are board-certified otolaryngologists with a long list of professional credentials and honors. They are experts in diagnosing and managing medical conditions of the sinuses, larynx, oral cavity, ear, mouth, throat, and structures of the neck and face. They offer a full range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care to treat diseases of the ear, nose and throat, including thyroid and parathyroid disease, as well as allergy, audiology and speech pathology services. The doctors collectively have held several clinical and medical staff leadership positions including medical staff presidencies at UPMC Mercy and UPMC Passavant.
The doctors will continue to see patients at their five clinical locations at UPMC Mercy in Uptown Pittsburgh; the UPMC Passavant Professional Building in McCandless; 969 Greentree Road in Greentree; 6001 Stonewood Drive in Wexford; and 4190 Brownsville Road in Brentwood.
