Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC Offers Weekly Exercise Class for Those Who Need to Move More
WHAT: Bariatric group exercise class at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. The class emphasizes improving health through moving more and consists of low impact cardio as well as balance and strengthening routines designed for each participant by a personal trainer. Each one will include a brief group discussion concerning healthful lifestyles and goal-setting. Classes are sponsored by the Bariatric Lifestyle Program at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC.

WHO: Individuals who are obese or overweight and have struggled with weight, are not accustomed to exercise and who have lived a very sedentary lifestyle. Participants do not have to be considering weight loss surgery.
