
Children’s Community Pediatrics Expands to Fayette County
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 12, 2013 –
Children’s Community Pediatrics (CCP) is expanding its pediatric network to Fayette County. Through a partnership with Laurel Pediatrics, a Uniontown-based private practice, CCP will open its first location in the county.
Laurel Pediatrics was established in 1994 by founder Mani Balu, M.D. Laurel Pediatrics’ four physicians have a long-standing tradition of providing quality pediatric care to children from the greater Uniontown area.
“We are thrilled to be joining the CCP network,” said Dr. Balu. “We strongly believe in CCP’s care philosophy and are excited to have an entire network of experienced pediatricians to consult with on a regular basis.”
By joining CCP, Laurel Pediatrics will become part of the largest pediatric and adolescent care network in western Pennsylvania. With over 100 board-certified pediatricians in more than 30 pediatric locations across Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Erie, Indiana, Mercer, Washington and Westmoreland counties, CCP provides pediatric care to over 150,000 patients annually.

CCP – Laurel Pediatrics will continue to see patients at their Uniontown-based location, 140 Wayland Smith Drive, Uniontown, Pa. Office hours, as well as, the pediatric providers will remain the same. New patients currently are being accepted.
