Brain cancer claims the lives of approximately 14,000 patients each year, and roughly 23,000 people will receive a brain cancer diagnosis. Despite these numbers, most people remain unaware of the disease and its warning signs. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute
, where research is being conducted to find treatments and cures for brain cancer.
