Eleanor Feingold, PhD

With over 130 publications and more than 20 years in the field, Dr. Feingold is an expert statistical geneticist. Her current projects and interests include – and are not limited to – statistical methods for complex family-based datasets, detecting identity-by-descent and testing relationships using dense (sequence or chip) data, genetics of meiotic recombination, genetic epidemiology of Down Syndrome and heart defects, and the genetic epidemiology of Alzheimer's disease.

Dr. Feingold received her Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from Stanford University.
