Breast Health Fair Encourages Breast Health Knowledge, Cancer Screening

WHAT: A breast health fair to educate women about breast health and breast cancer facts, and assist in registering women for low-cost or free mammography screening at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. The fair will include live music, food, local crafts and baked goods.
WHO: Attendance is open to the public. In addition, staff from Magee Womancare International, the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh, Magee-Womens Hospital Breast Imaging Center and volunteers from Ebenezer Baptist Church will be available. Registered nurses affiliated with Magee will be the primary breast health educators for the fair.
WHEN: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24
WHERE: Ebenezer Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 2001 Wyllie Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
WHY: To help women evaluate their breast cancer risk, and encourage breast cancer screening by encouraging women to register for affordable mammograms. Women can register with friends and family members for simultaneous, private mammograms at Magee.
