Glimmer of Hope Presents $132,775 to Magee-Womens Breast Cancer Program

WHAT: A check presentation in the amount of $132,775 from A Glimmer of Hope Foundation to support the pre-menopausal breast cancer program at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC.

WHY: Currently, more than 250,000 women under 40 are living with breast cancer in the United States, and more women in western Pennsylvania are diagnosed than any other parts of the country. These startling discoveries motivate Glimmer of Hope founder Diana Napper to maintain her organization’s goal of raising funds to benefit programs such as Magee-Womens Hospital Breast Cancer Program and pre-menopausal breast cancer research.
