​Heritage Place Hosts Annual Carnival

WHAT: Heritage Place, a UPMC Senior Community, will host its seventh annual carnival for residents, their families and staff. The dietary staff will provide cookout fare, the Turner’s “Tea Bird” will serve drinks, and Trina Janura, a local one-woman band, will provide the entertainment. Special guests include the Pirate Parrot and Ken Haselrig, who will lead a white dove release.

WHEN: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26
WHERE: Heritage Place, 5701 Phillips Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa., 15217
WHY: The annual carnival is the largest event of the year for Heritage Place, and it serves as a time to bring together all members of the community. As many residents as possible are brought outside for a fun afternoon of family, friends and food to celebrate the end of the summer.
