‘Karaoke for a K-9’

UPMC Mercy Trauma and Burn Center and Public Safety Department Partner with Rock Bottom Restaurant

WHAT: A night of fun and fundraising for a public safety/therapy K-9 for use at UPMC Mercy. There will be a $10.00 cover charge at the door and a silent auction and raffle will be conducted.
The event, hosted by Rock Bottom, welcomes individuals and groups. To sign up to sing during the event, please call UPMC Mercy Trauma Services at 412-232-8375. The winner will be determined by the amount of money raised through the voting process.
“UPMC Mercy is grateful for these fundraising efforts, but reminds everyone attending to appoint a designated driver,” said Jenny Ziembicki, M.D., medical director, UPMC Mercy Burn Center.
WHY: This K-9 companion will do double duty as a pet therapy dog for trauma and burn patients, and help sniff out potential trouble for the UPMC Mercy Public Safety Department.
