UPMC Passavant Foundation Hosts 3rd Annual Scrub Run/Walk

WHAT: Passavant Hospital Foundation is hosting its 3rd Annual Scrub 8K/4K Run/Walk at the North Park Pool Loop. Participants have the option of running or walking one loop for the 4K or two loops for the 8K, and are encouraged to wear medical scrubs to be entered in the “Best Dressed Scrubs” contest. There will be a post-race celebration with raffles, prizes, refreshments and an awards ceremony.
WHY: All proceeds support the Passavant Hospital Foundation’s mission benefiting UPMC Passavant McCandless and UPMC Passavant-Cranberry campuses and advancing the health and wellness for all in the community through education, outreach and grant making.

WHEN: Race starts at 7 PM, rain or shine, on Friday, Aug. 21, 2015
Entry fee is $30 for the 8K race and $18 for the 4K race. Both races will have awards in each age group. Register at and contact Jennifer Steinsdoerfer for additional information at or 412-748-6648.
