Our bariatric surgery team, under the leadership of Anita Courcoulas, MD, MPH, FACS, director of minimally invasive bariatric and general surgery, features leading surgical staffs at all of our bariatric surgery center locations.

UPMC's weight loss doctors operate in our hospitals in Pittsburgh as well as Erie. Our board-certified, fellowship-trained weight loss surgeons are experts in all bariatric surgical procedures. Our gastric bypass surgeons are pioneers and offer minimally invasive surgical options.
