Structural Integration - Advanced Myofascial Release

UPMC Content 3

Structural Integration is a multi-stage treatment process that works by manipulating and stretching your body's fascia to relieve pain and improve physical function.

Your fascia is the connective tissue matrix that covers every bone, muscle, and organ.

Structural Integration is a hands-on process of slow, sometimes deep, fascial and myofascial releases combined with slow, active movements.

Each session lasts approximately one hour and is designed to meet your specific needs using the latest anatomical models of how the different muscles of your body fit and function together.

Most patients find that 10 to 14 sessions over 3 to 5 months are sufficient to relieve and resolve most of their pain or functional issues.
