UPMC Pharmacies

The UPMC retail pharmacy network is available to meet the needs of both patients and UPMC employees. The retail pharmacies are on-site at many of our hospitals. This allows us to create a unique experience for patients transitioning to the home setting, and for employees who want to reduce their co-pays. UPMC retail pharmacies offer free delivery to patient rooms and clinics.

For Patients

UPMC Rx Express

Many patients find it challenging to stop at their local pharmacy on the way home from the hospital or clinic. The UPMC Rx Express program helps lessen this burden by filling prescriptions and delivering them to the patient’s hospital room or clinic before discharge.

Visitors to UPMC Emergency Rooms should also inquire about the availability of the UPMC Rx Express program.
