OTs may also provide you with creative assistive devices and solutions, such as:

  • Orthotics.
  • Tools that help you grab or reach for items.
  • Splints.
  • New methods to help you do routine tasks.

Family and friends

Family members and friends also play a vital role on your care team.

They'll learn how to:

  • Help you during the recovery process.
