Enhancing Teaching Skills For Medical Educators Series

  • This series is designed to enhance core teaching and scholarship skills for medical educators of both medical students and residents throughout the UPMC system. The webinar series occurs live through Microsoft Teams from 12:15–1 pm every other month during the academic year.

The Wolff Learning Academy

  • The Wolff Learning Academy, part of the Wolff Center at UPMC, is designed to meet the quality and safety educational needs of healthcare professionals, including executives, physicians, directors/managers, and clinical staff by providing education, tools, and resources based on reliability and improvement science to lead to positive health care outcomes.  

Medical Education Quality Improvement Fundamentals

  • This course is designed to introduce residents and fellows to the fundamentals of quality improvement and provide you with a systematic framework for implementing improvement initiatives. You will learn about the theories and concrete applications of quality improvement, including how to assess your current state, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and implement small tests of change cycles.
