Helping You Manage Diabetes

UPMC Centers for Diabetes Education and Support is a network of locations throughout western Pennsylvania that provides comprehensive education to those living with diabetes.

Having diabetes does not mean that you cannot live a normal life. For most people living with diabetes, their quality of life depends on how much they know about diabetes and how well they use this knowledge to successfully manage the disease. That's why UPMC offers nationally recognized clinical care along with education and support programs, which have been specially recognized by the American Diabetes Association for quality self-management education.

Connecting You to Your Health Care Team

Not only do UPMC Centers for Diabetes Education and Support provide critical diabetes education, they also connect you to a team of experts — from diabetes educators and dietitians to your primary care doctor and endocrinologist — who all work together to help you manage your diabetes.

Educational Sessions and Events

UPMC Centers for Diabetes Education and Support offers a spectrum of educational sessions and events for people with diabetes and their families.
