Falk Pharmacy Delivery Information

Falk Pharmacy offers FREE delivery service to UPMC and University of Pittsburgh staff at various locations as well as offices within a 1-mile radius of the pharmacy. Please refer to the delivery locations to see if the pharmacy delivers to your worksite.

Staff will need to provide both an office and cell number when requesting office deliveries. Prescriptions must be prepaid with a credit card or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card.

How to Fill Your Prescriptions at Falk Pharmacy

New Prescriptions

  • Drop off your prescription at the pharmacy (2nd floor of the Falk Medical Building) during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday).

Or:

  • Let your physician's office know that you would like your prescriptions filled at Falk Pharmacy. Ask your physician to:
    • E-prescribe the new prescription to Falk Pharmacy.
    • Call in the prescription directly to Falk Pharmacy at 412-605-3900 (this number is for physician calls only).
    • Fax the new prescription to Falk Pharmacy at 855-683-0159 (this number is for physician faxes only).

Transferring prescriptions from another pharmacy to Falk Pharmacy

  • Call us to provide the following information:
    • Patient name and birth date
    • Medication name and prescription number
    • Name and phone number of the pharmacy where the medication was originally filled
  • Falk pharmacists will use this information to contact your current pharmacy and transfer your prescription.

How to Arrange for Delivery of Your Prescriptions

Please note that you must prepay for your prescriptions with a credit card or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card. Please call the pharmacy at 412-623-6222 to provide this information. 

To request delivery, call the pharmacy, select option "0", and leave a message with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Birth date
  • Office phone
  • Where the prescription(s) should be delivered
  • What medication you would like delivered
