Students may apply for both the Health Professions Scholarships (includes Dr. Bert & Lucille Wiley, Mary Pearl Hunt, Blackburn, and Obert Scholarships) and the Thomas E. Bailey scholarship by completing one application. Specific guidelines exist for each scholarship. The application is now open. Students must apply by March 31st 2024.
The Health Professions Scholarships and the Thomas E. Bailey Memorial Scholarship provide financial assistance to students in health professions.
The Health Professions Scholarships Program awards up to $8,000 per year for up to four years to students who aspire to a career in health care. Pre-health care programs are not eligible.
Hospital employees are eligible to apply for the Health Professions Scholarships in addition to receiving tuition reimbursement. Employee scholarships are funded through the Walter Allen Fund.
